The Impact of Global Financial Crisis on Foreign Workers’ Deployment

The global financial crisis that we are currently experiencing is like a worldwide epidemic. Many people cope with this situation by finding ways to get rid of the financial crisis and making their financial status as stable as possible.

Comments from different people describe that the present crisis is a total financial meltdown and a “Great Depression” in the making. It has a historical significance especially in the United States where the economic status right now is in a state of instability. Some of the big companies in the US are experiencing difficulties in their financial condition and have declining stocks. Some are closing their companies, and some are selling the stocks to other surviving firms to avoid total bankruptcy.

Moreover, the world economy has entered a shaky state. One way of surviving this crisis is by deploying foreign workers to other countries who have opened their doors for employment. It gives workers the opportunity to migrate and stay in a country where they can work. Some people in Asia migrate and look for jobs either in the US or in Europe in order to survive and have a better chance of living. Meanwhile, western investors are interested in starting or growing their businesses in Asian countries. The consequences of deployment status are strong, but there is no guarantee that a widespread economic crisis will be avoided.
